Getting back to shows that I’ve watched and enjoyed for years. This time, its Dirty Jobs.
I’ve been watching this pretty much since it first began back in 2003. There hasn’t been an episode so far that I haven’t enjoyed in one aspect or another. Some have been dirtier then others, of course.
Mike Rowe is the host, and in my opinion he is very under-rated. He is super funny and can make light of even the most disgusting of situations. Which is helpful in his line of work.
It’s one of the few shows that really capture the everyday worker.
In the most recent seasons, they have been getting away from “dirty” jobs and following jobs that need to be done everyday that help make the world go around that we usually forget about. Giving the people the respect and attention they deserve.
I can’t wait for the new season to begin before too long. Although I’m still finding episodes I’ve somehow missed.
Check it out on Discovery.
